I fredags tog vi oss ner for the Death Road.
We got ourselves from Arequipa, via Copacabana to La Paz. In Copacabana Johanna had altitude sickness so she staid in bed for a couple of days. Meanwhile Matilda and Rachael checked out Isla del sol and some more Inka ruins. The island was beautiful, but no one told us before hand that we had to pay an entrence fee, luckily we had the money, but other travellers didn´t and had to argue to get trough. The next day we took the bus to La Paz. Chilled out for a couple of days and checked out the town. On friday we did the death road. An amazing experience of mountainbiking down the worlds most dangerous road. Downhill for 4 hours on a dirt road and well earned beer and food afterwards. The weekend we spent partying and as a good Sunday entertainment we went to watch cholitas wrestle, aka women in traditional bolivian dresses, beating the shit out of each other. It was hilarious!
Now we´re heading to the jungle, see u in a week!
Lycka till med Anakonda brottningen!
